Brisbane playmaker Anthony Milford has been declared fit for Thursday's NRL clash with Canterbury.

The five-eighth failed to finish training on Tuesday but coach Wayne Bennett said he did a full session on Wednesday behind closed doors at Suncorp Stadium and will play against the fourth-placed Bulldogs.

Canterbury coach Des Hasler has labelled the game a "State of Origin style" clash and Bennett simply said he hopes the Bulldogs play "like the Blues" in response.
